October is packed for World of Warships. Wargaming announced update 15.9, featuring the Pacific Front strategy event, new destroyers, a Tier IX cruiser and a Halloween-themed pass.

Pacific Front event

The month’s headline is the Pacific Front event. Players take part in Operations, a series of battles that ends in a final duel with a primary objective. Winning that duel earns Progress Tokens, which unlock a reward track topped by the American destroyer Monaghan.

Uncharted Waters and Armory additions

Starting October 15, the Armory gets the Uncharted Waters event, which brings two Tier VIII destroyers:

• Datong (Pan-Asian);
• Philips van Almonde (Dutch).

During the event, players can collect Sailor Tokens and exchange them for rewards such as permanent camouflages, enemy destruction effects and rare bonuses.
Also with this update, the Italian Tier IX cruiser La Spezia becomes available in the Armory for Research Points.

Halloween pass in World of Warships

From October 8, players can start working through the Halloween event pass. Rewards include the battleship Warspite and themed cosmetic items.
