Activision and Infinity Ward have published part two of their guide to DMZ, the open-world extraction mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and confirmed the early access schedule.

Early access dates
Digital pre-orders of the Standard or Vault Edition (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PS5, Battle.net, Steam or Nintendo Switch 2) unlock the Campaign on October 16 and DMZ on October 20.
The Forward Operating Base (FOB)
The FOB is the camp linking every infiltration into Hajin, and it grows as you complete operations. It includes DMZ Orders that guide progression and story, a shared stash starting at 40 items and 12 weapons, a firing range, survival kits, a vendor with daily rotating stock and a display for dog tags taken from enemies.
Operators, MIA and Prestige
You start with two Active Duty Operators (three with the Vault Edition). An Operator who dies without extracting goes MIA and can be recovered for a fee, but without gear. Dog tags rank up through six tiers, from Steel to Onyx, granting up to 18 points across three trees with 66 traits: Warfighter, Scout and Survivalist. At max rank, Prestige trades rare gear and DMZ cash for permanent traits.
Hunters and the 3D printer
Four Operator kills make you Wanted, revealing your rough position to rivals, who can pay for intel at Bounty Stations to hunt you. From level 2, the 3D printer crafts consumables, vests, backpacks, equipment and permanent base upgrades.
