Among the booths at BGS 2026, one of the most interesting for anyone following Brazil’s indie scene belonged to Venn Studios. The studio brought COME TO BRASIL to Distrito Anhembi, a hub built to connect indie games made in Brazil with the international market and, the other way around, to introduce foreign titles to Brazilian players.

SavePoint stopped by the booth during the show. Here is our take:

Who Venn Studios is

Venn is an independent Brazilian studio behind games such as Asleep: Act 1, Finding Polka, Dark Island: Faded Memories and LIBRITOPIA: Librarian Simulator, the library management sim that even got a Linux version.

In an interview with Olhar Digital earlier this year, the studio summed up the reality of making indie games in Brazil: it takes a constant balance between creative ambition, tight budgets and development time. On small teams, the same people often handle production, marketing, community and finances on top of development itself.

What COME TO BRASIL is

The hub works as a two-way showcase. It helps Brazilian developers reach audiences abroad, and it puts international games on Brazilian players’ radar. Partners include the Nuuvem store, Critical Leap and PARCO Games, with support from ABRAGAMES, Brazil’s game developers association.

Beyond the physical booth, the project relied on digital activations, creator content and discovery initiatives throughout the show, so the games could also reach people who weren’t on the show floor.

Why it matters

In a year when BGS itself is leaner and has fewer big brands, spaces like Venn’s show where part of the show’s energy is going: to indies, and to initiatives trying to open doors for them abroad. For players, it’s a chance to discover Brazilian games before they make headlines elsewhere.
