Rogue Quest is a roguelike deckbuilder where every attack is a poker hand

In Steam Early Access, Curds & Crowns’ game has 5 classes, 88 Power Cards and a cursed spire to climb.

What if every attack were a poker hand? That’s the idea behind Rogue Quest, a roguelike deckbuilder from Curds & Crowns that has been in Steam Early Access since May.

Poker in a cursed spire

You climb a procedurally generated cursed spire, and your damage depends on the hand you make, across 10 ranks from a pair to a royal flush. Along the way, the map offers shops, rests, events, mystics and elite enemies.

  • 5 classes, each with its own cards and mastery track
  • 88 Power Cards (up to 5 per run)
  • Card forging and transmutation at the blacksmith
  • Town upgrades that persist between runs

Early Access

Early Access is planned to last 6 to 12 months, with the price rising along the way. It runs on Windows and Mac. If you liked Balatro and want something more RPG, keep an eye on it.
