This Privacy Policy explains how SavePoint (savepoint.com.br) collects, uses and protects the personal data of people who visit the site, in line with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018, LGPD).
1. Who is the controller
The data controller is SavePoint. For any privacy matter, email us at xavier@savepoint.com.br.
2. What we collect
- Browsing data: IP address, browser and device, pages visited, where you came from and when.
- Cookies and similar technologies: described in our Cookie Policy.
- Newsletter: your email, if you subscribe.
- Comments: name, email and the comment itself, if you comment.
- Contact: whatever you send us by email or social media.
3. Why we use it
- To keep the site up, secure and fast (legitimate interest).
- To measure audience and site performance and see which content people like (consent, for statistics that use cookies).
- To send the newsletter to subscribers (consent; unsubscribe from any email).
- To record referrals from affiliate links, which keep the site free.
- To answer messages and moderate comments, including spam filtering (legitimate interest / your request).
4. Third-party services
- Cloudflare: delivery and protection network; processes your IP to serve pages securely.
- Google Analytics (Google): audience statistics, loaded according to your consent (Google Consent Mode).
- DebugBear: measures page speed (load times) without identifying you.
- Jetpack / WordPress.com (Automattic): statistics, security and newsletter delivery. Akismet (Automattic) checks comments for spam.
- Embedded videos and posts (YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, Twitch, Kick, TikTok, X, Instagram): load only with your consent or when you click; until then they are just links.
- Affiliate links (such as Amazon and Mercado Livre): when you click, the store may use cookies to record the referral.
- Complianz: stores your cookie choices.
Our WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord channels run on those platforms and follow their privacy policies. Some providers are outside Brazil, which may involve international data transfers, made with the safeguards required by the LGPD.
5. How long we keep it
Only as long as needed for the purposes above. Comments stay up until you ask us to remove them. Newsletter emails stay until you unsubscribe. Statistics follow each tool’s retention period (14 months at most).
6. Your rights
Under the LGPD you can, at any time, confirm whether we process your data, access it, correct it, ask for anonymization, blocking or deletion, request portability, find out who we share it with and withdraw consent. To change your cookie choices, use the “Manage consent” button in the corner of the screen. For anything else, email xavier@savepoint.com.br. You can also complain to Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
7. Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), regular updates and access controls to protect data.
8. Children
SavePoint does not knowingly collect data from children. If you are responsible for a child and believe they sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of the page.
