State of Decay 2 release date to be announced at E3

State of Decay 2 will have its release date announced at E3, after little information was revealed since the previous year’s E3.

Since last year’s E3, little has been revealed about State of Decay 2

This week it was revealed that the game’s release date will be announced at this year’s E3.

In the first State of Decay, the player controlled a group of survivors of a zombie apocalypse. You had to use combat, stealth, community management, resource gathering and base building. The game’s differentiator at the time was that characters died permanently, so you had to look for other survivors to replace your team.

In this new edition, the game promises to bring a cooperative mode for up to four players, something that was heavily requested in the first game. The game will also have three maps, each the size of the first game’s map (16 km²) and with different environments, styles and visuals, and it will be on Xbox One and on Project Scorpio in 4K.
