Sledgehammer Games announced that the new Call of Duty in development may be considered perhaps the biggest project in its history.
“This year, we will release our biggest project to date. We have an incredible and talented team willing to work hard. All that is missing from the equation is a workplace that fits the level of excellence the Hammers strive for.”
The company showed images of the workplace expansion.
Sledgehammer is already familiar with the Call of Duty franchise, as it helped create Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 with Infinity Ward and in 2014 released Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
The next Call of Duty, to be released in 2017, will bring the franchise back to its roots; according to images circulating on the internet, the game will be called Call of Duty: WW2 and will be set in World War II.
