Halo Wars 2 gets new DLC

343 Industries announced that the Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare expansion

The game is a conflict between the Banished and the Flood and promises to expand the story of the main game, where players will take on a new series of campaign missions from the Banished’s perspective and experience their desperate fight against the terrifying Flood invasion.

Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare is the newest DLC, which includes leaders for multiplayer and Terminus Firefight, a game mode exclusive to the expansion on a dynamic map where players build bases and armies to defend against waves of enemy forces.

Also in June, two new Leaders will be released, with four more Leaders and a new mission called “Operation Spearbreaker” coming later this year.

The Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare expansion will be released at the end of 2017.
