Sony recently released sales of its latest exclusive, Marvel’s Spider-Man. The game has surpassed the mark of 9 million units sold (physical and digital), which is no surprise since at launch the game broke the platform’s record by selling 3.3 million copies in just 3 days, becoming the fastest-selling exclusive on PS4. Previously that title belonged to God of War, which sold 3 million copies in just 3 days.
Spider-Man was developed by Insomniac Games in partnership with Marvel Games and was released on September 7, 2018, meaning the game reached this impressive mark with only 4 months on the market! James Stevenson of Insomniac Games thanked the fans for their support on Twitter:
