Anthem reaches only half of Mass Effect Andromeda’s physical sales

Anthem topped UK sales in its launch week but reached only half of Mass Effect Andromeda’s physical sales, per Eurogamer’s chart report.

Anthem became the sales leader in the United Kingdom in its launch week, but even so only managed to reach half of the physical sales of Mass Effect Andromeda (the last game released by BioWare before Anthem).

It is worth noting that there is no information on the game’s digital sales, so it is not possible to say with certainty whether the picture, as far as sales go, is positive or negative, but it is good to remember that Mass Effect Andromeda (which sold double what Anthem did) only managed, at the time of its launch, half the sales of Mass Effect 3, meaning BioWare’s game sales are dropping with each new title released, considering physical sales… digital sales are normally equivalent to a maximum of 30% of physical sales, so it seems reasonable to think that digital sales would not bring Anthem up to the previous game’s sales. Below you can check the sales TOP 10:

  1. Anthem
  2. Far Cry New Dawn
  3. FIFA 19
  4. Rootin’ Pootin’ Cowboy Fruitin’ 2
  5. Metro Exodus
  6. Forza Horizon 4
  7. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
  8. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  9. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
  10. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
