The Epic Games Store is a controversial store because it entered the market promising a bigger profit margin for developers and has also “bought” exclusivity for some games (which can only be found on the store and not on traditional stores such as STEAM), like The Division 2, Metro Exodus and the Quantic Dream trilogy (Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls and Detroit).
