Days Gone is Sony’s latest exclusive. The newly released game was the target of several negative reviews from the media, while on the players’ side many have liked the game, that is, opinions are somewhat divided; the game seems to be the “love it or hate it” type. Even so, the negative reception from the media seems not to have been enough to stop the game from being a commercial success, since it was the best-selling game of April in the UK.
The best-seller list was compiled by MCVUK, and besides Days Gone, World War Z also sold well, reaching ninth place on the list. Mortal Kombat 11 sold 43.6% less than the previous game in the series, 2015’s Mortal Kombat X, and The Division 2 had a 67% drop in sales compared to the previous month. Without further ado, here is the list:
- Days Gone (new release)
- Mortal Kombat 11 (new release)
- Tom Clancy’s The Division 2
- FIFA 19
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Yoshi’s Crafted World
- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
- World War Z (new release)
- New Super Mario Bros U. Deluxe
