Stadia is the name of Google’s game streaming platform. The company intends to let people use the platform on the most varied devices and thus play wherever they prefer, as long as they have a stable connection (the minimum connection speed required to use the service has not yet been mentioned).
Google has not said how it will charge for Stadia, and until now there has only been speculation, but it seems that is finally about to change, because the company just announced the “Stadia Connect Event Set” event, which will take place on June 6 at 9AM (US). At this event the games will be revealed that will make up the platform’s library, along with the subscription price and release date. Excited?
