The Division creative director interested in creating a story-driven single-player experience

The Division's creative director says he is interested in creating a story-driven single-player experience in Ubisoft's series.

The creative director of The Division series recently showed enthusiasm for the idea of a narrative-focused game in the series, replying to an idea floated by TT Games’ level director:

“I love the idea of a single-player narrative directed at The Division. Focusing on an agent trying to get home to his family after being sent to NYC, during the SHD blackout from the fall of DC. TLOU x The Division. None of the stories have explored what a Division agent sacrifices and what they go through mentally”

“When you think about it: it’s a very dark / epic thing – there’s a great opportunity to tell some incredible stories there. Sitting here in a restaurant eating a burrito, all I want is a notepad and a pen to write down all the epic stories our agent could have, in chapters, through his long journey home during the fall of society haunted by nightmares of what could have happened to his family, because they answered the SHD call, so they weren’t there to protect them during the fall ”

And you, would you like a narrative-focused game in the series? I would!
