Jovem Nerd is a news and nerd/geek content portal well known and loved by pop culture fans in Brazil. The duo stands out, among other things, for its podcast Nerdcast, which covers a variety of subjects such as politics, science, film and more. Nerdcast has a recurring series where tabletop RPG sessions played by the team are released in “podcast” format; the series is called Nerdcast RPG.
One of the most notorious sagas in that series is the CyberPunk saga, which tells the adventures (or misadventures) of the group in the CyberPunk RPG universe. Today the duo announced that CD Projekt Red, the company behind The Witcher games and Cyberpunk 2077, will use in its game the character Ozob, created by Azaghal for his Nerdcast RPG series.
Ozob
According to the Jovem Nerd Wiki description, “Ozob is an albino replicant mercenary (a trait of people who have no skin pigmentation) whose look and name are inspired by Bozo the Clown. His most striking features are his extremely white skin, red hair and a grenade in place of a nose”.
I can’t imagine how happy Azaghal must be to see a character he created appearing in one of the most anticipated games of this generation! I’d be ecstatic!
