Santa Monica Studio announces God of War 2018 will run at 60FPS on PS5

Santa Monica Studio announced God of War (2018) will run at 60FPS on PS5 in performance mode and allow PS4 to PS5 save transfer; resolution not yet detailed.

Santa Monica Studio announced through its Twitter account that God of War 2018 will run at 60FPS on the PS5 (in performance mode) and will allow save transfer from the PS4 to the PS5.

So far it hasn’t released more details, but a question remains… God of War 2018 already had this mode on the PS4 PRO, but there it ran most of the time at 40FPS (on average), as Digital Foundry mentions in this article. On the PS5 the game will probably run locked at 60FPS, but at what resolution? Since it’s basically a difference between generations, I hope it runs with all the graphics settings of the 4K mode (the mode where the game looks best) at 60FPS. That’s the “loving” treatment we fans want. Since no more details were mentioned, let’s wait.
