Watch Dogs: Legion launches tomorrow, October 29, and even before launch it is already facing controversy. The game has been making several Xbox One X consoles (of those playing early to do reviews) freeze and then shut down. The bug occurs during the mission “I Kid You Not – 404”; during this mission the game freezes and right after, the console warns that it will shut down. According to Eurogamer, this failure happened to several reviewers, and all were playing on the platform recommended by Ubisoft for review, the Xbox One X.
Ubisoft says it is aware of the bug and said it is working on a fix patch coming out on the 30th that will “probably” fix the issue. In an official statement it said “We are aware of this issue and there will be a fix released on October 30, which should help”.
