Microsoft brings Xcloud game streaming to Brazil, free for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers

Microsoft starts the Xcloud beta in Brazil on November 18, free for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers; the full service arrives in 2021 and sign-ups are open.

Game streaming has been a much-discussed topic lately. Several giant companies have bet on the service… for those who don’t know what it is, let me try to simplify: it’s basically a Netflix for games, except that instead of streaming movies, you stream games, meaning you don’t need any dedicated device to play. All you need is a phone, tablet, or PC/laptop with internet access and that’s it.

Our market is usually left out of these initiatives (game streaming) because of our “run-down” internet… fortunately Microsoft doesn’t think that way! It announced that starting November 18, Xcloud (the name of Microsoft’s game streaming service) will begin its beta here in Brazil (sign up here), and registrations are open from today!

It’s worth noting that Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to play via Xcloud when it launches, without paying a single cent more for it! The service will arrive in Brazil for good next year, 2021… but don’t forget the beta will be available this year!
