Ghost of Tsushima has sold more than 5 million copies

Ghost of Tsushima has passed 5 million copies sold, according to the New York Times. Sucker Punch’s samurai game is set in feudal Japan.

I’ve been watching the “community” ask for a while now for an Assassin’s Creed set in Feudal Japan. Ninjas and samurai are icons not only of history but also of pop culture… a game with that theme, if well made, will hardly fail to win over the public. Ubisoft seems not to believe that, since an Assassin’s Creed in Feudal Japan has never happened (at least not so far).

Fortunately Sucker Punch thought differently and decided to bet on the theme, and it couldn’t be happier with the result! Ghost of Tsushima has sold more than 5 million copies, according to a New York Times article. Not bad for a new IP! We hope for sequels!
