The Game Awards night was truly a night of reveals: Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games showed the world their newest title, Evil Dead: The Game. The game is a cooperative/PvP multiplayer (depending on the mode chosen) and is in development for Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Check out the trailer:
“Based on the ‘Evil Dead’ franchise and the characters created by Sam Raimi, Robert Tapert and Bruce Campbell, the game pits players against the forces of evil that were unleashed from the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, with imagery and sound inspired by the films ‘The Evil Dead’, ‘Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn’ and ‘Army of Darkness’, as well as the original STARZ television series ‘Ash vs Evil Dead’.”
The game will let you either take the side of the good guys, forming a team of up to 4 survivors to explore, loot and search for equipment or ways to seal the breach between worlds, or take the side of evil, hunting the heroes as a powerful Kandarian demon.
