Time Spiral Remastered brings back classics from the 2000s!
This Friday, March 19, 2021, Wizards of the Coast announced the reprint of cards from earlier Magic: The Gathering sets, which can be obtained in boosters of the Time Spiral Remastered series. The cards will show the original frames with new art, with more than 100 cards from sets of the 2000s being printed again.
Some of the cards that will be back are:
Damnation
Black card, Sorcery, 4 Mana (2 Black), destroys all creatures on the battlefield, and they cannot be regenerated.
Tarmogoyf
Green card, Creature, 2 Mana (1 Green), its power is equal to the number of cards in all graveyards, while its toughness is equal to that value + 1.
Yawgmoth, Thran Physician
Black card, Legendary Creature, 4 Mana (2 Black), when summoned, it has protection from Humans and the player can pay one life point and sacrifice another creature to reduce the power and toughness of an opposing card, and draw a card. If Yawgmoth’s owner uses two Black Mana, they discard a card and can use the “Proliferate” mechanic.
Chalice of the Void
Artifact card, X Mana, when summoned, it enters the battlefield with a number of Charge counters equal to the Mana used to cast it. Whenever any player casts a spell with converted mana cost equal to the number of Charge counters on Chalice of the Void, that spell is countered.
In addition to the announced cards, anyone who gets a Booster box will receive as a bonus the classic Lotus Bloom, which will be reprinted for the first time in its original frame.
