The Forza series is extremely important to the Xbox brand. The racing game series created by Turn 10 has existed since the original Xbox and has been improving with each new game. The engine used by Turn 10 and by Playground (responsible for the Forza Horizon line) stands out for its incredible visuals, extremely detailed textures, superb lighting and refined physics. Recently Turn 10 lengthened the interval between releases in the series, which previously alternated annually between Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon, in order to improve the engine even further, including all the new technologies promised by the new generation, Ray Tracing standing out among them.
Fable is being developed by a Playground team and until now we didn’t know which engine they would use… rumors pointed to Unreal Engine 5, but it seems that was not the case. In a job listing posted on LinkedIn, Turn 10 posted the image (below) confirming that the next Fable will use the same engine as the Forza series:
Looking forward to the next Forza and Fable?
