E3 2019: Remedy releases 18-minute Control gameplay video

E3 2019: Remedy released 18 minutes of gameplay from Control, its new game after Quantum Break, showing supernatural powers and the Bureau.

Control is Remedy’s newest bet after Quantum Break. The game was announced at E3 2018 at Sony’s conference (but it is multiplatform) and was described as a supernatural action-adventure game with “metroidvania” elements. The protagonist will use supernatural powers (such as telekinesis, levitation and the ability to control certain enemies) to fight. The game’s weapon is also noteworthy, since it is a weapon that can change shape according to the protagonist’s needs.

The plot revolves around a secret American government agency (the FBC – Federal Bureau of Control) whose “goal is to contain, study and, finally, control objects and phenomena that defy the laws of science”. The agency’s headquarters is in Manhattan and is itself considered a place that defies the laws of science, since its interior is considerably bigger than its exterior and it is connected to several alternate dimensions. Check out the trailer:

Control will be released on August 27, 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
