PSN ban wave over the Plus Collection is apparently real

The PSN ban wave over the PS Plus Collection is real, according to a Reddit user report. Here is what is happening, with the error codes.

According to Reddit user u/lzchyi, the PSN ban wave over the Plus Collection is real, and it is happening the way many had predicted.

But, to give context to those who just arrived, let us summarize the facts:

Some (let us say: many) users were taking advantage of an exploit involving the PSN Plus Collection, where redeeming the Plus Collection games on your PlayStation 5 gave you access to the same games on the PlayStation 4.

By all indications, as the ban parameters are being set: consoles that redeemed the games for more than 50 accounts are being permanently banned, and the accounts tied to them are being banned for two months or permanently.

The error codes are

WS-37368-7 – banned

WS-37337-3 – temporarily banned

So far there has been no official statement from Sony. It is worth remembering that so far the bans have only happened in Asia, so anyone who has not hit the “target” yet, stay alert.
