CD PROJEKT issues video statement on Cyberpunk 2077!

CD Projekt co-founder Marcin Iwiński comments in a video on Cyberpunk 2077's situation after its troubled launch and the fix plans.

Cyberpunk 2077

Marcin Iwiński, co-founder of CD Projekt, appears in a video on the game’s official Twitter account, commenting on the game’s current situation and discussing events from the final stages of development through those following the launch of Cyberpunk 2077.

Iwiński asks players not to blame the team, taking responsibility for the game’s release together with the board and backers, claiming that the state the game was in during testing gave no hint that the problems that eventually appeared would come, but acknowledging that the company’s testing methods will be expanded and reviewed.

He also comments on the free DLCs that were scheduled to be released shortly after the game’s launch, but for last-generation consoles (Xbox One and Playstation 4) their focus will be stability.

The additional content for current-generation consoles (Playstation 5 and Xbox Series) will begin still in 2021, following the model of The Witcher 3.
