Spcine, São Paulo’s film and audiovisual company, will make available at its virtual booth at Big Festival, Latin America’s indie games event, the results of its mentoring and commercialization calls for video games.
Spcine’s investment exceeded R$ 1,000,000 in the calls!
During the event, visitors will be able to see the projects selected by the company in its 2019 and 2020 calls, which aimed at the publishing and development of games, a total of 8 projects plus two others that succeeded in the market: Aritana and the Twin Masks by Dualik (Steam) and Mayara & Annabelle: Idle Battles by Skullfish (Android and iOS).

Lyara Oliveira, director of Audiovisual Development and Policies at Spcine, commented:
“In our partnership with BIG this year, we reinforce Spcine’s intention to maintain and expand a close relationship with Brazil’s creative and productive games sector, a sector that has been growing and consolidating even in the current crisis scenario and that, in fact, was boosted during the pandemic. Getting closer to the sector is strategic and has been happening since 2016. In recent years, Spcine has approached its dialogue with the sector in a very proactive way, supporting events, launching funding initiatives and promoting the work of Brazilian developers.”
Details about the projects will be available between May 3 and 9, 2021.
