Sonic Colors: Ultimate gets trailer showing what’s new

Sonic Colors Ultimate got a trailer showing what is new in this version.

• 60FPS, reworked lighting, 4K resolution and improved graphics.

• New Rival Rush game mode: bet on a race against Metal Sonic to unlock rewards.

• Customization: you can now unlock new gloves, shoes and effects for Sonic.

• You can turn Sonic into a ghost, to pass through solid objects and reach hidden areas.

• Customizable controls: you can customize the controls to fit your play style.

• Tails Save: find a Tails Save and return to that point in the game if needed.

• 100-ring counter: collect 100 rings to gain temporary invincibility.

• Soundtrack: all the songs were remixed.

Sonic Colors Ultimate will launch for PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Epic Games Store on September 7, 2021. Because of compatibility, it will also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

A Digital Deluxe edition will also be on sale, granting early access to the game and some items based on the Sonic movie.
