Come along, this news is a treat for those who like boxes on the shelf: Nikoderiko: The Magical World – Director’s Cut will get a physical edition for PS5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S on August 22, 2025. The release is from Knights Peak and VEA Games, in partnership with U&I Entertainment.
Two editions
- Standard: the full game in the Director’s Cut version.
- Deluxe: also includes an art book with unpublished illustrations and the soundtrack on CD, composed by David Wise.
Those who already have the game on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Steam Deck, Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S or Amazon Luna receive the Director’s Cut content as a free update. The original version has a score of 80 on Metacritic. Pre-orders open soon; a price in reais has not been disclosed.
How cute
Look how cute: a lovable platformer with a David Wise soundtrack on CD, the same composer as Donkey Kong Country. My little gamer heart is already picking out a spot on the shelf.
