Lara Croft’s friendly rival takes the spotlight in a new Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis episode
Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics have just released the latest episode of the behind-the-scenes mini-documentary series for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, the impactful reimagining of Lara Croft’s visionary original 1996 adventure.
The highlight of the latest episode is Bradley Snedeker‘s performance as Larson Conway, one of Lara’s rivals in Legacy of Atlantis.

“Bradley won us over with his voice, which fit with us,” says Jason Epps, Design Director at Crystal Dynamics. “On top of that, he had a consistent performance and brought a pleasant emotional tone to the character, giving a certain lightness, but without making him frivolous or unimportant, rather a real person. And I think we made great strides in expanding Larson’s presence and making him a real, relevant character.”
Larson has a “friendly” rivalry with Lara Croft, and although he always tries to outdo her, believing he is on her level, he always seems to be one step behind the main heroine — something that drives him throughout Legacy of Atlantis.
“Larson is a character who wants to redeem himself,” Epps continues. “But he never, at least in his own mind, felt that he fit in and got the recognition he deserved. That’s why he is very focused on proving his worth.”
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis launches on February 12, 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2.
