Bandai Namco has released a new gameplay overview trailer for GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT. The video details the mission structure, high-speed combat and mobile suit customization options ahead of the release set for March 5, 2027.

The story of GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT

In the game, you take control of Rex, pilot of the Gundam Helix, and form bonds with unlikely companions as humanity faces the terrifying forces unleashed by the Apocalypse.

The trailer follows the cycle of a mission: it starts at the briefing aboard the special service ship Stellarvane and continues to the battlefield, where the player advances at high speed with multidirectional mobility, facing waves of enemies.

Customizing the Gundam Helix

Before each mission, you can tune the Gundam Helix to your playstyle by customizing:

  • Weapons;
  • Frame;
  • Abilities;
  • Color scheme.

Combat against the enemies of the Apocalypse

Each configuration will be tested against the enormous enemies of the Apocalypse. To win, you will need to identify and hit their weak points, activate Over-rise – which drastically boosts the Gundam Helix’s performance – and use the devastating AP Unit Burst to turn the tide of battle.

Release and editions of GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT

GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT launches on March 5, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam), with pre-orders already open. The game will have four editions: Standard, Launch, Deluxe and Collector’s Edition.
