Resident Evil 2 demo was downloaded more than 2.4 million times

The Resident Evil 2 remake 1-Shot Demo has been downloaded more than 2.4 million times, Capcom announces ahead of the game’s January 25 launch.

The Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo was downloaded more than 2.4 million times, according to the site residentevil.net.

The site only counted players who enabled the data-sharing option at the start of the Demo, through RE NET, so the official number may be much higher than this.

For those who haven’t played it yet, this Demo can only be played for 30 minutes, and that is the time you have to try to reach the end.
If you die, you can try again until the time runs out.

Of those 2.4 million players, only 26% managed to complete the demo and reach the end.
When time runs out, an unreleased trailer showing gameplay scenes with Hunk and Tofu is displayed.

Resident Evil 2 will be released this Friday, January 25, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
