Standalone version of Red Dead Online available December 1

Plus first details of the new Bounty Hunters expansion

Red Dead Online, the vibrant, ever-evolving world where you can take on Roles and ventures to follow your own outlaw path on the American frontier, will be available as a standalone game on the PlayStation™Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games and Steam on December 1.

For the first time, new players who do not yet own Red Dead Redemption 2 will be able to enjoy everything Red Dead Online has to offer, including access to all future content updates.

Carve your own path with five unique Specialist Roles. You can arrest petty criminals and famous gangs as a Bounty Hunter, learn the secrets of the animal kingdom as a Naturalist, hunt wild animals for resources as a Trader, search for exotic treasures as a Collector and even run your own clandestine distillery as a Moonshiner.

Help widow Jessica LeClerk and her right-hand man Horley take revenge on the men who killed her husband in A Land of Opportunities, playing several co-op missions in a story that supports two to four players.

Take on the Showdown Modes, a series of competitive modes in which players and teams face off in classic shootouts and objective-based contests, such as capturing territories or supplies.

And there is more, such as Free Roam missions, which vary according to your honor level, public or private games of Poker, competitive Free Roam Events and Daily Challenges, all in a world rich in detail.

Red Dead Online will be available on the PlayStation™Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games Store and Steam with an introductory offer of R$28.00 – a 75% discount on the regular price – until February 15, 2021*. Note: PlayStation®Plus and/or Xbox Live Gold is required to play. The PlayStation®4 and Xbox One versions of Red Dead Online can be played through backward compatibility on the PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series.

The new standalone version of Red Dead Online requires up to 123 GB of space. This version includes the option to unlock the Red Dead Redemption 2 Story Mode (purchased separately).

Coming Next Week: Bounty Hunters Role Expansion

Red Dead Online Bounty Hunters will face a new wave of fugitives, as the Bounty Hunter Role will introduce new criminals to track down, plus Prestige gear and abilities to unlock across 10 more Bounty Hunter Levels. In addition, there will be new Legendary Wanted targets and an Outlaw Pass with 100 Levels.

And new players can get ready for next week’s big update by starting to hunt the new wave of frontier reprobates. Meet the Legendary Bounty Hunter in Rhodes to get the Bounty Hunter License and start your journey.
