Chizuru Kagura is the newly revealed character in KOF XV

In the early hours of the morning, during the second Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable, SNK released another trailer for its upcoming game The King of Fighters XV, announcing that the character Chizuru Kagura is back, forming the classic Sacred Treasures team together with Kyo and Iori.

In the franchise’s story, the three characters (Chizuru, Kyo and Iori) are heirs of the families that held the Sacred Treasures, powerful artifacts that, when used together, are capable of sealing the “Will of Gaia”, which ended up being known as Orochi.

In The King of Fighters ’97, one of the most beloved versions here in Brazil, the game’s final boss was precisely Orochi, and if you picked the characters of the Sacred Treasures Team (even though on the select screen each one was on a different team), you could see a really cool special ending.
