Granblue Fantasy Versus, a fighting game based on a famous mobile game franchise and developed by Arc System Works (which also created the acclaimed Dragon Ball FighterZ and the recent Guilty Gear Strive), will receive the character Six on July 13, according to the new Japanese trailer released by the company:
On the same date, Arc System Works will also release two new stages (Celestial View and Abyss), free for everyone who owns the game.
Seox/”Six” would be the last character of Character Pass 2, as the game’s season pass with extra purchasable content is called, but at the end of the trailer, a notice appears saying the next character reveal will be in August. It is not confirmed, though, whether it will be a new season of characters.
In August we will have the EVO Championship, the biggest fighting game tournament in the world, which is always the stage for big reveals related to this universe.
Either way, until new information is released, all we can do is wait for August.
Arc System Works has just released Guilty Gear Strive with great success, and is surely working on the Character Pass 1 characters. It is also developing the game Dungeon Fighter Duel, another fighting game based on a mobile game franchise.
Granblue Fantasy Versus is already available for PS4 and PC.
