EVO 2021 Showcase will bring back in-person events in November

EVO 2021 Showcase brings back in-person events of the biggest fighting game tournament in November, after the community's online series.

The EVO 2021 Community Series is already underway, online tournaments held on PlayStation 4 and 5 among players who signed up, with exclusive items such as Themes and Avatars, and cash prizes. EVO 2021 Online is also happening, with the biggest current pro players, replacing the traditional event that took place every year.

But with the progress of vaccination and better control of the pandemic, today EVO announced the EVO 2021 Showcase, an event to be held in Las Vegas on November 27 and 28, with the champions of the more than 120 regional online tournaments taking place in EVO 2021 Online.

40 of the best fighting game players in the world will gather at the UFC APEX Arena in Las Vegas to fight for the champion’s trophy in 5 games:

According to the EVO 2021 Showcase organizers, all travel and lodging expenses will be paid by EVO, and in addition each game will have a US$25,000 prize.

Each of the games will bring two champions from each region participating in EVO 2021 Online: North America, South America, Asia and Europe, totaling 8 participants in each bracket.

More news will be shared soon on EVO’s social media.
