Knockout City Season 2 brings Fight at the Movies

Knockout City Season 2, Fight at the Movies: see what's new in EA's multiplayer dodgeball game's new season, starting July 27, 2021.

Knockout City keeps on brawling

Grab your popcorn and get comfortable, because Electronic Arts and Velan Studios just revealed, during EA Play Live 2021, what fans can expect from Season 2 of Knockout City (spoiler warning): an ever-changing movie-inspired arena map, a new special ball (which will surely go well with that popcorn you just grabbed), new playlists, items and rewards. See Knockout City Fight at the Movies on the big screen (or at least on the screens of fighters around the world) starting July 27, 2021.

Check out Fight at the Movies in the official Season 2 trailer of Knockout City here.

This season, fighters can bring their moves to the cinema on a new map, the Drive-in Holowood, which includes movie-inspired fields that change in real time, from the spooky Cathedral of Terror to the charming Bridge of Love, this map will have it all. But what is a movie without snacks? The new Soda Ball will surely splash as it covers rivals’ screens with sticky soda while they run through graffiti-covered tunnels and fight for the high ground atop a pyramid or castle. Players can also arrive at matches in style with movie-themed items, showing off their new looks in a new season of League Matches (with their own shiny rewards), tons of new cosmetics, new playlists and much more.

Knockout City is available now and free to try up to Rank 25* with crossplay and cross-progression on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Origin, Steam, Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S via backward compatibility. Xbox Game Pass, EA Play or Epic Games Store subscribers can play Knockout City for free.
