Listen up: NACON, owner of the RIG brand, has launched the RIG 400 GEN2 headset line in two camouflage prints with a soft-touch finish, Arctic Camo and Urban Camo. They succeed the brand’s best-selling camo models and are exclusive to the American chain Walmart, in physical stores and on Walmart.com.
The two versions
- 400 GEN2 HS Arctic Camo: designed with PlayStation in mind, but works on any device with a 3.5 mm input.
- 400 GEN2 HX Urban Camo: designed for Xbox, it comes with a one-year Dolby Atmos for Headphones code for surround sound on Xbox and PC.
Both use 40 mm drivers, a redesigned microphone that mutes when flipped up (flip-to-mute), oval ear cups with noise isolation, on-ear volume control and a snap-fit adjustment with a padded band. Connection is via 3.5 mm cable, compatible with PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, PC and mobile. Price in reais and availability in Brazil were not disclosed.
Straight talk
For those who like a headset that looks like field equipment, the camo prints are the draw. The catch: for now it’s exclusive to an American retailer, and the announcement says nothing about Brazil.
