Cyberpunk 2077 campaign reportedly lasts 11 hours

A YouTuber claims in a now-private video that the Cyberpunk 2077 campaign lasts about 11 hours, with hundreds of side quests and a lively world.

Apparently the Cyberpunk 2077 campaign is not that long

According to YouTuber DreamcastGuy in a video that is now private, the Cyberpunk 2077 campaign lasts around 11 hours.

His estimate comes from the fact that he took 21 hours to finish, but a lot of that time was spent studying the character’s skill tree and its possibilities.

The YouTuber claims his copy was delivered early (Xbox One version) and that he has been playing for the last four days (37 hours in total). He also says he was instructed by CD Projekt Red not to show clips, reviews or comments about the game… but he published the video. Someone at CDPR probably contacted him quickly, but thousands of people had already seen the content.

From the YouTuber’s impressions, he says the combat system is a lot of fun, and he simply does not get tired of it. The feel of the game, as many expected, is that of an FPS.

The whole idea of the future that Cyberpunk has is used within the game’s universe. Even the most random NPCs you meet while exploring the world talk about attitudes and events consistent with the Cyberpunk setting.

The world is alive and works with itself to build the narrative that everyone there is a real human with real problems (anyone who played The Witcher 3 knows how good CDPR is at this)

There are hundreds and hundreds of side quests. All with CDPR’s well-known variety and quality, again.

There are also “bigger” side quests that last practically as long as the main campaign.

He cites two side quests as examples of creativity, which I will not mention for those who dislike spoilers, but they really are quite creative.

The Xbox One version, still according to him, runs perfectly well, without any kind of problems. He tested both at high resolution with 30 fps and at lower resolution with 60 fps. On the Xbox Series X he had practically no loading screens.

With one of the fastest motorcycles in the game, he claims the game apparently could not keep up with the speed, and occasionally froze for about two seconds. This happened more than 30 times while he was using the fastest vehicles.
